Is Ash & Ascend a medical practice?
No. Ash & Ascend does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment. All services are complementary and educational in nature and are not a substitute for professional medical care.
Massage & Bodywork
What type of massage do you offer?
I offer relaxation-focused therapeutic massage. Deep tissue work is only performed as part of select integrative tool massage services and is not standard relaxation massage.
Do you offer deep tissue massage?
Deep tissue techniques are only included in integrative or specialty services when appropriate. If you are seeking intense or corrective deep tissue work, please inquire before booking.
Do I need to undress for my massage?
Only to your comfort level. You will be fully draped at all times. You may remain fully clothed if preferred.
Is massage painful?
Massage should never feel painful. Pressure is adjusted to your comfort and communication is encouraged throughout the session.
Reiki & Energy Healing
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing technique that supports relaxation, stress reduction, and energetic balance. It works with the body’s natural energy systems.
Do I have to believe in Reiki for it to work?
No. Reiki does not require belief or religious affiliation. Many clients simply experience deep relaxation and calm.
What happens during a Reiki session?
Sessions may include:
Light touch or hands-off energy work
Sound bowls
Tuning forks
Crystals
Intentional frequency work
You remain fully clothed.
Can Reiki replace medical treatment?
No. Reiki is complementary and should not replace medical or mental health care.
Vibroacoustic Sound Therapy
What is vibroacoustic sound therapy?
Vibroacoustic therapy uses sound frequencies and gentle vibration through a specialized table to promote deep relaxation and nervous system regulation.
Will I be touched during vibroacoustic therapy?
No hands-on massage is performed during vibroacoustic sessions unless explicitly stated in the service description.
What does it feel like?
Clients often report feeling deeply relaxed, grounded, and mentally clear. Experiences vary.
Herbal Products & Wellness Items
Are your herbal products FDA approved?
No. Herbal products are not evaluated or approved by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Can I take your products if I’m pregnant or on medication?
Please consult a licensed healthcare provider before use if pregnant, nursing, or taking medication.
Do you accept returns on herbal products?
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, all herbal and consumable products are final sale unless damaged upon arrival.
Virtual & Remote Services
Do you offer distance Reiki or virtual sessions?
Yes. Distance Reiki, email-based intuitive guidance, and virtual wellness consultations are available.
How does distance Reiki work?
Distance Reiki is performed energetically without physical presence. Many clients report similar relaxation benefits as in-person sessions.
Booking & Policies
Are services refundable?
No. All services are non-refundable once booked. Please review all service descriptions before purchasing.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations or reschedules require advance notice as outlined in the booking policy. Missed appointments may be charged in full.
Do you record sessions?
